
Office Coordinator
Summary of Job: The Office Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support with projects as needed. The Office Coordinator may provide routine clerical and billing support, document, audit, and correct enrollment errors and triage and coordinate care for incoming participants. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Answers telephones and acts as receptionist for program, triages phones calls and gathers pertinent information from callers to accurately log the data elements of each and every call. Maintains an organized office filing system that assures confidentiality of all documents. Ensures the facility reception areas are neat and orderly at all times. Oversees the use, maintenance and repair of office equipment. Maintains inventory and orders office supplies as needed. Facilitates incoming referrals ensuring review and completeness for each referral. Validates all client eligibility to ensure services provided are covered contractually. Validates demographic/insurance information entered into system by staff is accurate and completed in a timely manner. Assists with creating and generating reports as scheduled by the funder, or when needed. Understands and adheres to RI International compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies. Performs other related duties as assigned. Ability to provide courteous assistance in a concise, informative manner, keeping a positive tone and appropriate non-verbal language. High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two (2) years of clerical experience, preferably in a health care environment. Driving Requirements: If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in RI International driving policy. If not qualified to drive per driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed. A Program Support Competency Checklist must be completed as part of the new hire onboarding process. Physical Demands: May include work close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses. May be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds. Work Environment May work in an office environment or behavioral health facility. May have contact with individuals who are agitated and/or confused.
